Today everyone celebrated. It is Christmas Day! Santa Claus came and filled my stocking with sweet oranges and a candy cane. Mother knitted a new cozy pair of mittens for me and I made Pa a scarf. He was so surprised when he saw it! Joseph carved me a little old man made of wood in his spare time. Christmas dinner was a delicious turkey that Pa bought.
