A Colonial Wigmaker

When the hair was finished being sewn, the wigmaker fixed the wig if it needed to be curled better or was uneven. The gentleman came back to the shop for a fitting. He put on the wig. The wigmaker gave the man a paper cone to put on his face so the perfumed powder wouldn't get on him. The wigmaker sprinkled powder all over the man's head. The gentleman liked his wig and recommended the wig shop to his friend. Hence, another workday for the wigmaker is over.

Today, wigs are no longer fashionable as they were in the 18th century, but we still use them in costumes and for people with no hair. Not many people wear the style of wigs people wore in the 1700's anymore because they're too hot.
