Chapter 4
Our First Discovery
After traveling for several minutes on black rock we find ourselves in a large grove of trees surrounding a small stream. We decide to refill our canteens with fresh water and after doing so; I take our raft out of the car, glad that I brought it along. We blow up the raft and get in. Miss Walker brings her books in case we see any unusual animals or plants on the way.
